Our Inspiration
"Now on that same day two of them were going to a village called
Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and talking with each
other about all these things that had happened. While they were
talking and discussing, Jesus himself came near and went with
them." (Luke 24:13-15)
Our Mission
The primary mission of the Church is to evangelize; "Go therefore and make
disciples of all nations". One of the greatest challenges for our Church is to
enliven our communities and leaders to bring out Christ’s presence more consciously
into all areas of life. The Emmaus story contains important themes of Christian
life: conversion, searching for God along the road of life, continual learning,
discernment, community, breaking open the Word and breaking the Bread.
